Job Title: Junior Lawyer - Property (3 Month Contract) Rate: £33 per hour (Umbrella) Location: Hybrid (2 days in office per week) Overview: We are looking for a Junior Lawyer - Property to join a local authority on a 3 month contract. This is a hybrid role requiring just 2 days in the office per week. You will provide legal support on property matters, assisting with planning, contracts, procurement, and other property-related legal issues. Key Responsibilities: Provide legal support and advice on property-related matters, including planning, regeneration, and contracts. Assist in managing legal cases and document preparation. Collaborate with internal teams and external legal partners, ensuring best practice in case management. Participate in meetings, providing legal guidance to Council members. Ensure compliance with Council policies, including health & safety, risk management, and safeguarding. Requirements: A solid foundation in property law (public or private sector experience). Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to manage a caseload under supervision and maintain high standards of legal work.
