Tenancy Sustainment Worker – ExeterSalary: £25,659 – £28,510 per annumContract: Fixed Term (until June 2026), Full Time (37 hours per week)Location: ExeterClosing Date: 31st August 2025About the Role Are you passionate about helping people maintain their homes and improve their lives? We are seeking a TenancySustainment Worker to join a dedicated Support team in Exeter.This role is ideal for someone who is self-motivated, resilient, and committed to providing high-quality support to individuals facing challenges such as mental ill health, substance misuse, and complex life circumstances.Key Responsibilities
* Tenancy Support: Help customers maintain their accommodation through budgeting, benefits advice, and housing support.
* Promoting Wellbeing: Encourage positive lifestyle choices and connect individuals with health and support services.
* Risk & Safety Management: Carry out risk assessments and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
* Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues, housing management, and external agencies to provide effective joined-up support.
* Empowering Independence: Support individuals in building the confidence and skills to live independently.

About You To succeed as a Tenancy Sustainment Worker, you will bring:
* Experience supporting individuals with housing-related needs.
* Strong communication, literacy, and numeracy skills.
* A good understanding of safeguarding, risk assessment, and health & safety.
* Experience of managing challenging behaviours and tenancy issues.
* Ability to manage rent accounts and maintain accurate records.
* A methodical, organised approach to work, with strong time management skills.
* A commitment to excellent customer service.
* A valid UK driving licence and access to a suitable vehicle.
Desirable qualifications include: CIH or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) – or a willingness to work towards these.Please note: Applicants must have the right to work in the UK for the full duration of this role. Visa sponsorship is not available.Additional Information This role requires an enhanced DBS check. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable people.
