We are looking for a new Dynamics Functional Consultant to join our expanding team. You will drive the successful delivery of technology changes and projects by engaging closely with the business, including leading discovery sessions, gathering and translating requirements, engaging subject matter experts and stakeholders, and designing and configuring fit-for-purpose D365 solutions that meet business needs.
What you'll do
* Operate as a business-facing specialist in Microsoft Dynamics, helping implement and optimise D365 systems for use across the YTL UK Group.
* Understand business processes, objectives, and pain points to gather and document a fit-gap analysis into our Dynamics services.
* Design and configure Microsoft D365 solutions aligned with business needs, including customising CRM/ERP modules, entities, workflows, and forms, with a strong knowledge of the D365 suite.
* Train end-users and provide documentation to ensure effective use of the D365 system and features.
* Assist the QA team with system testing and develop test plans to validate requirements.
* Support deployment of D365 solutions and assist during go-live for a smooth transition.
* Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting, and issue resolutions for Dynamics 365 users.
* Continuously evaluate system performance and identify opportunities for improvements and enhancements with the client.
* Provide performance metrics for the Dynamics Competency Centre and the Dynamics Platform Design Authority.
* Maintain clear communication with business teams, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure project progress and alignment with client expectations.
* Create and maintain project documentation, specifications, configuration details, and training materials.
* Collaborate with developers and technical consultants to ensure Dynamics 365 integrates with other systems and applications.
* Develop and implement custom plugins, workflows, and reports as needed to meet client requirements.
* Assist in change management and user adoption efforts during the adoption of new systems and processes.
What you'll need
* Strong understanding and competency of IT, including cloud infrastructure, integration, reporting and analytics, Active Directory, ITIL, customer support and change management.
* Excellent D365 product knowledge, modules, services, development tool suites, use cases, and case studies.
* Prior experience in a relevant role (e.g., Business Analyst) using D365 toolsets.
* Experience in end-to-end CRM/ERP implementation projects.
* Relevant technical qualifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified D365 Functional Consultant Associate or MB-240, PL-200, MB-300, MB-310).
* Strong communication skills to gather, document, and translate business requirements into system configurations and provide training.
* Customer Relationship Management skills to build and maintain relationships.
* Knowledge of business processes across CRM and ERP, compliance measures, and best practices.
* Adaptability to stay up-to-date with new features and market trends (e.g., Co-Pilot for Dynamics).
