Part-time EYFS Teaching Assistant
We are recruiting a Part-time EYFS Teaching Assistant for a Primary School from May 2024 until july 2024 - Temp to perm in a Primary school in the Aintree area of Liverpool
You will be working in a Nursery class in the school, supporting the Teacher in the class to provide engaging lessons. The school has a great outdoor learning area for the class.
The role is 3 days aweek - 18 hours aweek :
Monday - Full day - 8.30am-15.30pm
Tuesday - Full day - 8.30am-15.30pm
Wednesday - Morning only 8.30am-12.30pm

You will be supporting children with their learning and development in a Reception class. You will also be expected to work with small groups of children for additional support with any subjects.

Your role & responsibilities of EYFS Teaching Assistant:
· Promote inclusion and acceptance of all students
· Be committed to raising attainment, aspiration, and self-esteem of pupils
· Support pupils consistently whilst responding to their individual needs
· You will work closely with the class teacher to provide a safe environment and engaging lesson
Non-negotiables:
· Holds a Level 2/3 qualification (CACHE, Childcare, NNEB, Etc.) or relevant experience within the last two years supporting children in either an education, social care, nursery, community/youth role, college/university placement or any volunteer roles
Please note, candidates without a qualification but with extensive experience (paid or voluntary) with children or a relevant setting are also welcome to apply!
* Previously support children in schools or NUrsery setting or similar.
* Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the classroom teacher.
* Two suitable references covering the last 2 years.
* Be able to display excellent verbal communication as well as the ability to actively listen.
