Quality Engineer
A prestige automotive manufacturer has an immediate requirement for an experienced Quality Engineer, to ensure compliance to international standards and solve complex quality issues
Key Accountabilities
1. Providing support and coaching for the Control Managers and Problem Owners regarding the process, method.
2. Escalation of problems difficult to solve.
3. Support specialist departments in developing measures for optimised efficiency in defect eradication as well as their prevention.
4. To ensure that problems are analysed and prioritised as appropriate
5. Plan and develop Target Management Process (key indicator)
6. Steer and carry out working groups, QS, QMT and Process Leads from all technologies.
7. Production guidance on development and implementation of processes to improve product and process consistency and quality.
8. Implement training for Quality Specialists
9. Manage the Compliance of the Manufacturing & Quality System, and manage all associated documentation
10. Interaction with internal/external customers and key contacts
11. Target setting for the quality team.
12. Determine suitable quality requirements from international standards
13. Prioritise the problem landscapes with focus on the business.
14. Decide best practice for new product introductions.
