Wire Harness Technician Cirencester £12.50 Per Hour Our client based in Cirencester is currently seeking a Wire Harness Technician to join their growing team! This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic environment, working on high-quality cable harness assemblies. Wire Harness Technician Roles and Responsibilities: * Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings * Cut, strip, crimp, and solder wires to assemble harnesses in line with technical specifications * Perform continuity and electrical testing on finished harnesses using appropriate test equipment * Inspect completed products to ensure compliance with quality standards, resolving any identified faults * Maintain accurate documentation of assembly steps, materials used, and testing results * Provide suggestions for process or design improvements * Carry out routine maintenance of tools and equipment used in the assembly process * Follow all company procedures, including health and safety protocols * Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment, ensuring the correct use of PPE at all times Wire Harness Technician Ideal Candidate: * Experience in wire harness assembly * Confident in reading and working from wiring diagrams and schematics * Skilled in soldering, crimping, and using a variety of connectors and hand tools * Experience with testing equipment such as multimeters and continuity testers Wire Harness Technician Working Hours and Benefits: * Monday - Friday, 07:00 - 16:00 (Flexible) * Potential to go permanent for the right candidate Jackie Kerr Recruitment is an independent agency that has been established for 28 years.
