Randstad C&P are recruiting on behalf of a multifaceted, Tier One construction firm based in Bristol. The contractor are seeking a Project Manager to run a commercialscheme valued at £4m, with a strong, secure prooject pipeline following this; including works within leisure, healthcare, industrial extensions and refubishment of Grade II listed buildings.
The role requires someone who has worked in a similar capacity as a Number One on similar size schemes. The role also needs a dynamic and commercially savvy inidividual who ideally has worked previously for a Tier one contractor or a regional Tier two contractor.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets
2. Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle from initiation to completion
3. Act as the primary liaison with clients, providing regular updates and maintaining strong relationships
4. Coordinate and lead teams of architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors
5. Ensure the highest standards of quality and safety are maintained throughout all projects
6. Identify potential risks and implement effective mitigation strategies
Qualifications and Experience:
7. Minimum of 5 years' experience in project management within the construction industry
8. Proven track record with office refurbishments, warehouse extensions, refurbishment of listed buildings, and general commercial schemes
9. Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets effectively
10. Comprehensive knowledge of construction processes, materials, and industry best practices
11. Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities and a client-focused approa
12. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
13. Exceptional leadership, communication, and organisational skill
