Responsibilities of our Assistant Shop Manager:
1. Assist the Shop Manager to maximise shop income and profitability through the safe day-to-day operational management of shop activity and key performance indicators, supporting the work of Cats Protection.
2. Act as a brand ambassador for Cats Protection, embodying the charity's values and behaviours, and taking responsibility for shop operations in the absence of the Shop Manager.

Our retail operation includes over 80 charity shops, each with its own charm and personality, thanks to our dedicated volunteers and colleagues. From vintage jewellery and jigsaws to harps and handbags, we cater to diverse customer needs, whether they seek a must-have item or a missing piece.
What we’re looking for in our Assistant Shop Manager:
* Relevant retail experience and demonstrated learning in a retail environment
* Understanding of working towards sales targets
* Experience with cash reconciliation and financial controls
* Ability to motivate and manage a team of employees and volunteers
