We are recruiting for two Security Officers to join our friendly and professional Estates team at the Cradley Heath Skills Campus, our brand-new facility developed to deliver industry-standard training in construction, health and social care, digital and more.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking College Group at an exciting stage of expansion, with one full-time, full-year role and one permanent, term-time only role (working 38 weeks per year).

Key Responsibilities
* Monitor college premises and patrol key areas to ensure a safe and secure environment.
* Respond effectively and appropriately to incidents, alarms and emergencies.
* Control access to buildings, support evacuations and liaise with emergency services when needed.
* Maintain accurate incident logs and reports.
* Work closely with College staff, students and external visitors, offering a reassuring presence on campus.
* Uphold and promote the Collegeโs safeguarding policies and health and safety procedures.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Weโre looking for candidates who:
* Have previous experience working in a security-related role, ideally within an educational or public-facing setting.
* Are confident, calm under pressure and capable of using good judgement when managing security matters.
* Hold a valid SIA qualification and First Aid at Work certificate, or be willing to achieve these within six months of starting.
* Have excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive, approachable manner.
* Are flexible and able to work as part of a team to ensure campus safety.
