This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead antimicrobial stewardship initiatives, optimise antimicrobial prescribing, and support infection prevention strategies within a busy acute hospital setting. The successful candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective, and evidence-based antimicrobial use. Key Responsibilities Deliver specialist antimicrobial pharmacy services across inpatient areas. Lead antimicrobial stewardship programmes and provide expert advice to prescribers. Monitor antimicrobial prescribing trends and contribute to infection control strategies. Support audits, clinical governance, and service development initiatives. Provide training and guidance to healthcare professionals on antimicrobial best practice. Qualifications and Experience Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). Extensive experience in antimicrobial pharmacy within an NHS setting. Strong knowledge of antimicrobial stewardship and infection prevention. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
