Field Service Engineer (Pumps, Motors & Gearboxes) – Cheddar
£40,000 – £45,000 + company van, overtime and company benefits.
Full‑time, permanent position with a well‑established company that has been operating since 2000, servicing rotating equipment (pumps, motors, gearboxes) across the southwest in industries such as food, manufacturing, healthcare and facilities management.
In this role you will:
* Carry out servicing, repairs, installations and maintenance at customer sites.
* Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults.
* Perform routine servicing and preventative maintenance inspections.
* Participate in a call‑out rota providing 24/7 breakdown support (approximately 1 week in 3), working Monday–Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
The ideal candidate:
* Has experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar.
* Background in mechanical rotating equipment.
* Commutable to Cheddar.
