Salary: Support Staff Pay Scale E: £21,843 to £23,281 pro-rata per annum (Actual) (£26,403 - £28,142 full time/full year equivalent)
Part time - 35 hours per week over 5 days from Monday to Friday
Working Weeks: 39 weeks

Charles Darwin Primary is looking for an enthusiastic and inspiring Inclusion Support Assistant to join our team and work primarily to support our Inclusion Lead.
Responsibilities
* Support and promote an inclusive culture throughout the school, enabling all students to fulfil their potential, and support them in overcoming any barriers to learning.
* Provide support and guidance for our most vulnerable pupils so that our school is able to meet their needs and pupils make good progress.
* Represent the school and trust positively at all times.
* Liaise with the senior team, Inclusion lead, PSA, teachers and other support staff including, but not limited to, teachers at the school, education specialists and parents/carers. Liaison with external agencies and organisations will also be required.
Qualifications and Experience
* Excellent numeracy/literacy skills
* GSCE (or equivalent NVQ Level 2) Maths and English
* Experience of working with pupils of relevant age in a learning environment and supporting children’s behaviour in a positive manner
* Experience of working in roles that expect a high level of contact with parents or members of the public and ability to interact well with all stakeholders
