Research Technician Position at the University of Southampton
Applications are invited for a Research Technician to join Prof Gomez-Nicola’s team (www.dgnlab.co.uk) to study the role of microglial senescence in the pathophysiology of Alzheimer’s disease. This project, funded by the MRC, uses human iPSC-derived microglia to explore the functional consequences of senescence, in collaboration with academic and industrial experts.
The position is available for 7 months and can be offered on a full-time or part-time basis.
Candidate Requirements
* Laboratory experience in biomedicine or related fields.
* Enthusiastic and well-motivated scientists capable of supporting the project and contributing to the research team.
* Previous experience with iPSC experiments and/or brain organoid models is highly desirable.
