The Role
We are looking for an experienced HR Recruitment Specialist to support ODRL’s internal growth and consultancy projects. This is a contract-based opportunity for a seasoned recruiter to apply their expertise in talent acquisition, particularly within the public sector for middle senior management roles, to attract top-tier candidates who align with our mission of building resilient, high-performing organisations.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute outreach strategies across channels such as social media, job boards, networking events, and talent communities.
* Draft, post, and manage engaging job advertisements that reflect role requirements and organisational culture.
* Review applications and create shortlists aligned with both client expectations and best-fit criteria.
* Coordinate and manage the end-to-end selection process, including scheduling interviews and conducting initial screenings.
* Collaborate with hiring managers and stakeholders to support decision-making.
* Design tailored interview guides for a range of roles.
* Continuously improve recruitment processes through data insights and market intelligence.
Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor’s degree (minimum 2:1 or equivalent).
* Chartered membership of a professional HR body (e.g., CIPD or equivalent).
* Minimum of 10 years’ experience in talent acquisition, with a strong emphasis on public sector recruitment.
* Deep understanding of public sector recruitment frameworks, standards, and culture.
Skills & Competencies
* Proficient with applicant tracking systems (ATS).
* Strong data management skills, including secure handling and editing of recruitment data.
* Competent in Microsoft Teams and Office
* Experience in stratifying data.
* Exceptional communication skills – both written, verbal and listening.
* Strong stakeholder management and ability to work independently.
