Job Opportunity: Travel Consultant
We are recruiting Travel Consultants to join our bright, modern office in Leyland. In this role, you will handle inbound calls from travel agents, matching their requirements to ensure their customers have the perfect holiday. Your customer service skills and travel knowledge will help recommend products that enhance the holiday experience. Our Sales Team is known for exceptional customer service, and we seek individuals who can build strong relationships with agents to ensure repeat business.
This position allows you to combine your passion for travel with sales skills, with the Customer Service Team managing post-booking queries and amendments.
Details
* Hours: 37.5 hours/week, Monday-Saturday, 9am-6pm, with potential for later hours during peak periods.
* Start date: 21st July 2025
Candidate Requirements
Ideally, candidates will have strong travel sales experience or extensive travel experience, including cruising, touring, round-the-world trips, or long-haul family holidays. Excellent customer service and sales skills are essential. Applications from those with a Travel & Tourism qualification will also be considered.
Training and Development
Initial 3-week interactive training with our in-house team, followed by ongoing support from our Coaching Team and manager. Opportunities for product and destination knowledge enhancement through training, supplier events, and industry visits, often with prizes.
