Account Manager – (South West & South Wales) Territory: Cornwall, Devon, Avon & Somerset, Gloucestershire, Gwent, South Wales, West Mercia & Dyfed-Powys Salary: £50,000–£55,000 (DOE) commission on capital & consumable sales OTE: Circa £75,000 per annum Field-based role | Regular travel required About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and driven Account Manager to join a leading organisation within the medical devices sector. Covering the South West and South Wales region, this role focuses on selling and supporting capital medical equipment and consumables across a well-established customer base, while identifying and developing new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong capital sales experience in the medical field, confident in managing a large geographic territory, and motivated by delivering results through proactive relationship building. Key Responsibilities * Achieve agreed annual machine sales and consumables targets. * Build and maintain relationships with key NHS and private sector accounts, including Wassenburg sites. * Attend regular meetings (in-person and via Teams) to identify and develop new sales opportunities. * Understand and present Cost Improvement Plans, Cost Benefit Analyses, and Business Cases. * Grow the sales pipeline via the CRM system and maximise opportunities across capital, leasing, and Pay Per Use models. * Maintain accurate records of customer contacts, installations, and competitor activity. * Support product installations and deliver training to end users. * Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations to healthcare professionals and key decision-makers. About You * Proven capital medical sales experience is essential. * Strong understanding of the NHS, procurement processes, and supply chain is highly advantageous. * Results-driven, professional, and highly self-motivated. * Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills. * Team player who listens, collaborates, and takes feedback constructively. * Prepared to travel extensively and work away as required. * Based in Wales or the South West region for convenient territory access.
