We’re looking for a Bid Manager to lead high‑value public sector bids, including frameworks and project opportunities. This role is central to shaping bid strategy, driving winning submissions, and influencing bid investment decisions across the business.
About the role
We are at the outset of an important journey and seeking an individual with a proven track record in bid management, coupled with the expertise and authority to drive meaningful change. This position offers the opportunity to influence the future development of our bidding function while ensuring the effective delivery of key activities. The ideal candidate will bring:
* 5–10 years’ experience in bid or proposal management
* A background in planning, design, construction consultancy, or the built environment
* Proven success in securing major public sector frameworks, including CCS, ESPO, and Pagabo
* Ownership of the end‑to‑end bid lifecycle, from opportunity identification to post‑bid review
* Ability to develop capture plans, win themes and bid strategies aligned to sector priorities
* Experience in leading bid workshops and managing clear, compliant bid programmes
* Skill in coordinating and motivating multi‑disciplinary bid teams
* Expertise in writing and overseeing compelling bid content that translates technical expertise into clear value
* Commitment to ensuring robust governance, quality reviews and full compliance
