Location: Oxford, Oxfordshire - Hybrid working available
Hours: 45 hours per week - Some flexibility on hours available, just let us know!
Your Responsibilities
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in our Oxford team, collaborating with Network Rail to deliver the Oxford Station Phase 2 works. Your expertise will help us increase capacity by constructing an additional platform and associated track through the existing operational station. Here’s what your day-to-day will look like:
* Assist the commercial teams in securing maximum sustainable value from contracts, managing subcontractors firmly and fairly.
* Compile monthly applications for payment to clients and track certifications, preparing monthly regional CV and forecast reports.
* Gather, submit, and agree on the financial effects of variations.
* Report on project-specific commercial issues for client progress meetings.
* Manage change effectively throughout the project lifecycle.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you:
* Have experience in a similar role within rail, construction, or civils, along with relevant qualifications (e.g., Degree in Quantity Surveying).
* Possess expertise in identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities.
