About The Role - Mechanical Fitter (Nightshift)
At First Bus, we're proud to keep our communities moving – and our engineers play a key role in making that happen. We're currently looking for a proactive and skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our Engineering team at Doncaster. We'll provide your overalls (PPE) needed to do your job successfully.
Responsibilities
* Vehicle fault diagnostics, servicing and repairs including MOT preps in accordance with First Bus Standard Engineering Operating Procedures
* To fully comply with all HS&E legislation along with Group Policies
* To fully comply with all relevant Standard Operating Procedures.
* Maintain and develop technical skills as required
Location: Doncaster
Working Hours: 40 hours per week Nightshift – 2‑week rotating shift pattern
Hourly Rate: £22.45 per hour
About You
* Do you have a minimum Level 3 NVQ standard of equivalent (i.e., City & Guilds Level 1&2) qualification?
* Do you have a flexible approach to working hours?
* Must have a full UK driving license
* A PCV licence is desirable or willingness to obtain PCV licence is essential as we will help you obtain your PCV
* Experience of working with coaches would be advantageous, but not a necessity
