Lead Breast Clinical Nurse Specialist (Cha)

Job Location: Edinburgh, Scotland – Western General Hospital
We are seeking an enthusiastic, appropriately experienced and qualified nurse to serve as Lead Breast Clinical Nurse Specialist for three breast CNS teams across NHS Lothian. The department provides symptomatic assessment, diagnosis of breast disease through to surgery/specialist plastic surgery, clinical and medical oncology to post‑treatment surveillance, and provides specialist management plans for patients with primary and secondary breast disease.
Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and oversee breast CNS teams.
* Provide specialist clinical management of breast disease, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and post‑treatment surveillance.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
* Ensure high‑quality patient care and adherence to NHS standards.
Qualifications:
* First level registered nurse with experience in oncology, surgical or palliative care.
* Ability to work autonomously and provide specialist nursing care.
* Membership or record with the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme (or willingness to apply).
