About The Team And Role
We're looking for a creative, detail-oriented Communications Assistant to support the Gloucestershire Libraries Development Team. Based at Shire Hall in Gloucester, this role plays a key part in shaping how we communicate with our communities. You'll work closely with the three Customer Development Coordinators to identify the most effective ways to engage with partners and customers—both within our libraries and through outreach channels.
You'll be involved in content creation, digital campaigns, and coordinating day-to-day communications that promote our services in a fresh, engaging, and inclusive way.

You're a strong writer with a sharp eye for detail and a flair for creativity. You enjoy working collaboratively, are adaptable, and take initiative. Whether it's crafting compelling social media posts or supporting wider promotional campaigns, you bring energy and ideas to the table.
