Role Overview
This role sits at the heart of our commercial business, supporting and shaping trading and revenue decisions across our marketplace products. As a Commercial Analyst, you’ll work closely with the Trading team to provide accurate, timely insight into key revenue streams.
Responsibilities
* Support the Senior Revenue Manager and Trading team to optimise trading strategy through forward‑looking market analysis.
* Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and revenue opportunities.
* Build, maintain and refine opportunity‑sizing and revenue forecasting models.
* Partner with teams across product, e‑commerce, marketing, partnerships and distribution to align insights with commercial goals.
* Produce clear reports, dashboards and presentations for senior stakeholders.
* Create effective data visualisations to highlight performance risks, downturns and opportunities.
* Support the budget planning process and future business plans.
* Share knowledge and best practice across the analyst community at CAVU.
Qualifications
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, experience working with large and complex data sets.
* Commercial awareness and confidence questioning assumptions or data gaps.
* Experience building forecasts, models or opportunity sizing to support business decisions.
* Ability to translate analysis into clear, compelling insights for non‑technical stakeholders.
* Strong communication skills, including experience presenting findings to senior audiences.
* Collaborative mindset and ability to build trusted relationships across teams.
* Comfort working in a fast‑moving environment with changing priorities.
