Job Overview
We are seeking a Starter/ Dessert Chef to join our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality. Some experience working in a commercial kitchen environment preferable but training can be given.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook high-quality dishes and desserts in accordance with menu specifications
* Contribution towards daily specials
* Ensure all food is prepared to the highest standards of food safety and hygiene
* Collaborate with the team to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area
* Assist in managing kitchen budgets and controlling food costs
Experience
* The ability to work within a team effectively
* Food preparation, and cooking methods
* Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
* A passion for hospitality
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £12.21-£13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 44 per week
