Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Support person to assist with general maintenance tasks in student accommodation. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a broad range of maintenance skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out general repairs and maintenance across the halls of residence.
* Reseal showers and repair or replace shower doors as needed.
* Respond to reactive maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner.
* Perform basic plumbing, joinery, and general handyman tasks.
* Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety regulations.
* Communicate effectively with site staff and report any issues or hazards.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a general maintenance or handyman role.
* Good all-round maintenance skills including basic plumbing, joinery, and sealing.
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
* Friendly and professional attitude, especially when working in a student environment.
