About You
What You'll Be Doing
* Supporting the HR team across key areas including employee relations, learning & development, and recruitment
* Assisting with employee relations matters such as absence management, disciplinaries, grievances, and performance management
* Supporting recruitment activity including screening applications, coordinating interviews, and onboarding new starters
* Helping to plan, coordinate, and evaluate training and development programmes
* Maintaining accurate employee records and supporting HR systems and data reporting
* Working with managers to support people initiatives and promote best practice
* Getting involved in HR projects that contribute directly to engagement, retention, and organisational effectiveness
What You'll Bring
* A degree in any discipline, ideally within Business or HR
* A genuine interest in employment law, developing employees and attracting talent to a business
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* A confidential, ethical, and empathetic approach when dealing with sensitive people matters
* Good organisation and time‑management skills, with strong attention to detail
* The confidence to ask questions and challenge constructively
* A proactive and resilient mindset, with the ability to balance competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment
