Network Engineer
Onsite in Nottingham
Our client is urgently seeking an experienced Network Engineer to support a combination of network upgrade projects, cloud connectivity improvements, and BAU operational support. This is a hands-on role requiring a proactive, self-sufficient engineer who can immediately integrate into a fast-moving environment with minimal onboarding.
Responsibilities Include:
* Supporting ongoing network upgrade activities across on-prem and cloud.
* Configuring and troubleshooting Checkpoint firewalls.
* Assisting with AWS networking and routing configuration.
* Enhancing network visibility, stability, and performance.
* Working with Aviatrix to support cloud network architecture.
* Supporting and optimising Cloudflare connectivity (Warp client/connector).
* Providing BAU troubleshooting and escalation handling.
* Ensuring documentation and handover notes are clear and accurate
