We are seeking a Deputy Manager to support the day-to-day running of a childrens residential home, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care in line with Ofsted standards. You will work alongside the Registered Manager to lead the team, maintain compliance, and create a safe, nurturing environment for young people.
Salary:£39,000
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Registered Manager in daily operations and service delivery.
Lead and supervise the staff team, ensuring professional development.
Maintain compliance with Childrens Homes Regulations and Ofsted standards.
Oversee care planning, safeguarding, and health & safety practices.
Build strong relationships with external agencies and stakeholders.
Promote a positive, child-focused environment.
Requirements:
. Level 4 Diploma in Children & Young Peoples Workforce (or equivalent).
Working towards or holding Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Residential Childcare.
Experience in a supervisory role within a childrens residential setting.
Strong knowledge of safeguarding and relevant legislation.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
