Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
* Work closely with teachers to support personalised learning plans
* Provide one-to-one and small group support tailored to individual needs
* Assist pupils with communication, social skills, and emotional regulation
* Support behaviour management using positive strategies
* Help create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
* Assist with personal care where required
* Encourage independence and confidence in all pupils
Requirements:
* Experience working with children or young people with SEN (highly desirable)
* Understanding of conditions such as autism, ADHD, and SEMH needs
* A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
* Strong teamwork and communication skills
* Willingness to undertake training and continuous professional development
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant) are desirable but not essential
