Role Overview
* Teach Music across KS3–KS5
* Lead and develop the Music department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning
* Plan and deliver engaging practical and theory-based lessons
* Organise and promote extracurricular music activities, performances, and events
* Monitor student progress and implement strategies to raise achievement
* Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives
* Maintain a positive, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment
About You
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
* Experience teaching Music at secondary level
* Previous leadership experience or readiness to step into a leadership role
* Strong classroom management and organisational skills
* Passionate about high-quality teaching and student achievementExcellent communication and teamwork abilities
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
