Your Responsibilities To assist the Logistics Manager in strategically and practically managing the logistics plan. To assist the Logistics Manager in directing, optimizing and co-ordinating the incoming and outgoing supply cycle. To assist the Logistics Manager in liaising with production to ensure current and required stock levels are met as well as all other logistics related matters. To ensure that all contracts are correctly executed within their terms and conditions and to the best advantage of ADM. To ensure the incoming/outgoing logistics are in line with the relevant legislation and ADM requirements. To ensure all shipping documentation for both incoming and outgoing produce is correctly executed. To ensure customs clearance of incoming and outgoing products is in place and overcome any issues. To ensure all invoices received within the Logistics Department are processed in a timely and efficient manner. To liaise & negotiate with suppliers, road freight & customers all other key contacts in the logistics/shipping/supply chain. Monitoring of sustainability accreditation and processes. To maintain metrics and analyse departmental data to assess performance and suggest improvements. To cover for Logistics Manager in their absence, representing the department where required. To provide on-call cover at weekends and evenings. Your Profile Educated to degree level or with the ability to operate at that level. Experience working in a logistics role with an understanding of logistics planning, haulage, shipping and the associated documentation. Strong mathematical / numeracy skills. Good IT skills (especially working with Excel spreadsheets). Good problem solving, organizational, communication and team working skills.
