1. Oversee and manage a portfolio of high-net-worth private clients, delivering personalised and strategic tax planning and advice
2. Ensure compliance with latest tax updates and leading the preparation and review of self-assessment tax returns
3. Advise on a wide range of tax issues, including income tax, capital gains tax, and inheritance tax, for individuals, families, trustees, and partnerships
4. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive solutions and meet clients’ complex needs
5. Develop and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities to expand services and support client growth
6. Support the development of junior team members by providing mentorship and promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement
Requirements: As a Private Client Tax Manager, you will need…
7. ATT and CTA or equivalent professional qualification in taxing or accounting
8. Experience in managing a private tax portfolio
9. Experience working with rural clients, particularly in areas of trust and partnership, is preferred but not essential
10. Communication skills, written and verbal, and ability to explain technical concept to clients
11. Ability to remain responsive and adaptable to shifting tax regulations and emerging industry trends
