As a Hire Manager based in Livingston you’ll be responsible for:
* Increasing our on-hire activity.
* Being proactive and reaching out to existing and prospective customers.
* Maintaining detailed records and having an attention to detail.
* Responding to customer queries re sales and hire equipment
* Putting quotes together for hire sales and repairs and tracking the quotes
* Maintaining and checking records of live hires and fleet locations
* Liaising with the Operations Supervisor with setting priorities for the team regarding breakdowns, deliveries, collections and plant transfers
This is a full-time, permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday between 8am - 5pm.
And here’s what we’d like you to have:
* Previous industry experience within machinery hire would be very beneficial
* Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
* A strong work ethic and be happy making and receiving telephone calls rather than relying on email communication.
* Confidence interacting with customers and suppliers to build effective relationships
