The Role An opportunity is available for an Assistant Technical r - Pharmacy based within University Hospital Hairmyres. The Assistant Technical Officer will assist with the provision of the pharmacy service by participating in: The accurate and safe assembly of medicines to be dispensed The accurate and safe receipt, storage, distribution and delivery of medicines The production, monitoring and filing of documentation A ward stock management service NHS Lanarkshire Have you always wanted to work with NHS Lanarkshire? What we'll need you to bring Scottish Vocational Qualification Pharmacy Services Level II or working towards or equivalent experience. Initial induction period of up to 3 months, followed by a period of training and consolidation to achieve full competency within 12 months following induction. Be capable of understanding and working within Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Commitment to CPD / Self motivation / Ability to work unsupervised Able to plan, prioritise and organise workload and to work under pressure Able to take direction, work under their own initiative and as part of a team Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills Demonstrate customer awareness/focus. Ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
