Responsibilities:
* Assist individuals with daily living activities, promoting independence and self-care skills.
* Administer medication as prescribed and ensure proper documentation.
* Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs.
* Provide emotional support and companionship to enhance the quality of life.
* Implement behaviour management strategies to support individuals during challenging situations.
* Engage clients in meaningful activities both within the home and in the community.
Requirements:
* Experience in a similar role within residential or supported living settings is preferred.
* Strong understanding of medication administration and care protocols.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to manage challenging behaviours effectively and compassionately.
* A caring attitude with a commitment to empowering individuals.
This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure which will be completed upon successful application.
