The role
This is more than a technical position — it’s a strategic leadership opportunity.
As the rural expert in the Northamptonshire office, you’ll combine hands-on surveying expertise with business development and client advisory. You’ll help landowners and rural businesses maximise the value of their assets, while driving the growth and visibility of the rural service line.
What you’ll be doing
* Advising landowners on estate strategy, diversification and long-term value
* Managing agricultural tenancies (FBTs & AHA agreements)
* Building and nurturing strong client relationships and networks
* Identifying and converting new business opportunities
* Supporting and mentoring junior team members
* Collaborating across disciplines to deliver holistic client solutions
* Representing the business at industry events and strengthening market presence

* MRICS-qualified with a strong background in rural consultancy
* Proven ability to win work and grow client portfolios
* Confident operating at a senior level with strong commercial awareness
* A natural relationship-builder with excellent communication skills
