How you will make an impact
As a Registered Nurse in our Stroke/Neurology unit, you will play a key role in advancing clinical practice and delivering exceptional patient-centred care. You will have the opportunity to use your skills and knowledge to make a real difference in patients’ lives while working within a collaborative and supportive team that values compassion, professionalism, and excellence in care.
Key responsibilities:
6. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients with neurological disorders
7. Monitor and document patients’ vital signs, neurological status, and treatment responses
8. Administer medications and prescribed treatments accurately and safely
9. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide holistic patient care
10. Educate patients and families on managing neurological conditions and preventing complications
About you
You are an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse who is passionate about stroke and neurology care. You thrive in a team environment, have excellent communication skills, and are committed to delivering the highest standard of patient care within the Cabrini Mission and Values.
You will have:
11. Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
12. Relevant nursing qualifications
13. Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience in an acute medical, stroke, or related speciality
14. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
15. A compassionate, patient-focused approach
16. Willingness to be an active, collaborative member of our team
