A friendly and ambitious primary school in Islington is seeking an experienced and motivated teacher to join their leadership team as KS1 Phase Leader from September 2026 on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will:
Have strong experience teaching within KS1
Demonstrate excellent knowledge of the primary curriculum
Be passionate about raising attainment and pupil progress
Have the ability to lead, motivate, and support a team effectively
Deliver engaging and creative lessons with high expectations for all pupils
Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parentsThe role will include:
Leading the KS1 phase across Year 1 and Year 2
Supporting teaching and learning across the phase
Monitoring progress and attainment
Coaching and supporting staff development
Working closely with senior leadership to drive standards and school improvementThe school offers:

Salary: MPS/UPS + TLR (£45,000 - £62,000 depending on experience)
