As a Multi Skilled Engineer, you'll deliver top-notch repairs and maintenance services to our properties. Whether working individually or as part of a dynamic team, you'll handle a diverse range of building maintenance tasks. Your primary focus will be on our reactive maintenance team carrying our day to day repairs for our tenanted properties. Occasionally, you may lend your expertise to other areas of the business, such as voids or planned maintenance.

We have an incredible opportunity for a Multi Skilled Engineer to join our Pobl Trades Team based in Swansea on a Full Time, Permanent basis. We're on the lookout for a talented and motivated Multi Skilled Engineer to join our Reactive Repairs team. If you have a passion for making a difference in the community, we'd love for you to be part of our team on a full-time, permanent basis. Ideally, you'll bring experience in Plastering as your core trade, with additional skills in carpentry would be a great bonus! But don't worry if you don't cover all trades, we still want to hear from you.

* Proven Expertise: Showcase your plastering skills with experience in both domestic and commercial settings. As this is a Multi Skilled role we require you to have a secondary skill preferably in carpentry.
* Qualifications: Provide evidence of relevant qualifications (if applicable) and experience to excel in your role.
* Effective Communication: Demonstrate excellent communication skills, essential for interacting with customers and colleagues alike.
* Safety Awareness: Maintain a keen awareness of health and safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
* Initiative and Positivity: Show initiative and maintain a positive outlook, contributing to our positive, connected, and considerate workplace culture.
* Tech: You will be required to utilise an electronic handheld device, alongside some admin responsibilities for the role too.

Pobl Group is a leading provider of housing, care, and support services across Wales. Having recently merged with Linc Cymru, the wider Pobl group is responsible for managing over 24,000 homes across Wales and will be investing £100 million, creating 3000 new homes in Wales over the next 5 years. Pobl repairs are the Operational Delivery team within Pobl who currently turn around over 1,000 Empty Homes, install over 1,000 planned kitchen and bathroom upgrades and will manage over 55,000 reactive repairs each year. With exciting plans to grow our team in the coming months, we will continue to work closely with our many partner organisations to achieve much more than we could alone. We also listen to our colleagues and our customers to deliver innovative local services that make a difference to the communities that we serve.

* Our Pobl Repairs Team covers areas between Haverfordwest and Monmouthshire, with our office base for this role being Swansea.
* Working days are predominately Monday to Friday days or you can work compressed hours on a 9 day fortnight.
* 26 days holiday, plus Bank holidays. Rising to 31 days with an extra day for each full year of service.
* Maternity & Adoption Leave: 20 weeks
* Paternity Leave: 3 weeks

* The salary is £32,512 for a 40 hour full time permanent position
