Transport Office Manager – Aberdeen

Salary: up to £37,000 per annum DOE
Working pattern: 40 hours per week – Monday to Friday
There is an out of hours service and in this role there will be a requirement to be on call
In this role your main responsibility will be to work in conjunction with the Transport Managers and Supervisors to ensure the fleet and drivers remain compliant in line with our Operator Licence undertakings. You will be responsible for a team of 3 Transport Maintenance Planners.
Your key responsibilities:
* Management of the Transport Maintenance Planners and their workloads
* Ensure compliance of vehicle maintenance schedules, vehicle PMI, MOT, tacho-re-calibration, LOLER and road tax payments.
* Work closely with Depot Supervisors and Transport Managers to keep fleet and drivers compliant in line with our O Licence undertakings.
* Ensure vehicle defects are being addressed daily and work is completed with a clear audit trail from defect reporting to rectification.
* Analyse paperwork from maintenance providers and action any points reported.
* Liaise with insurance company to process claims.
* Ensure work requested has been carried out by maintenance providers and that there is paperwork provided to reflect the work carried out.
Requirements
Essential criteria for Transport Office Manager role:
* Proven record of managing staff.
* Excellent communication skills with customers and colleagues.
* Proficient in Microsoft Applications, including Excel to produce reports and provide data
* Possess strong organisational and planning skills.
* Management CPC is desirable
