What you'll assist in:
* Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and programs for children in the nursery room
* Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
* Supervise and monitor children at all times, ensuring their safety and well-being
* Provide guidance and support to assistant staff members
* Maintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns
* Keep accurate records of children's attendance, behaviour, and developmental milestones
* Collaborate with other nursery room leaders and staff to create a cohesive and positive team environment
What do we require from you?
* A minimum of Level 3 in Early Childhood Education or a related field
* Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting is preferred
* Some previous experience at leading a room
* Knowledge of child development principles and practices
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
* Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children
