The Nurse Unit Manager provides clinical leadership and oversight of the nursing staff, health care workers and the Leisure and Lifestyle Coordinator at the campus. The Nurse Unit Manager is integral in promoting a positive, productive, and safe working environment for the staff, residents, and patients. About you: Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse Division 1 Ideally minimum of 5 years post-graduate nursing experience and demonstrated management skills Skills and experience in the management of staff Experience in working in aged care not essential but an advantage Knowledge of the new Aged Care Act and associated legislation, inclusive of the Aged Care Quality Standards, National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards and related accreditation processes Demonstrate respect for individual's values, customs and spiritual beliefs to ensure patient/resident care is effective and culturally appropriate.
