Job Summary

Our client is a leading multi-disciplinary consulting engineering firm with a global reach at the forefront of designing cutting-edge digital environments across commercial, residential, and data centre projects. As part of their Smart Buildings team, you'll be working on projects that make buildings smarter, safer, and more efficient – helping shape the way people experience the spaces around them.
Key Responsibilities
* Meet with clients to understand their needs and design smart building systems for projects ranging from smaller installations to large, complex developments.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team covering BMS, ICT, Security, AV, and more to bring smart building visions to life.
* Produce technical documents, specifications, and reports.
* Guide commissioning activities, witness system testing, and support business development efforts to grow the digital buildings offering.
Qualifications
* Degree in engineering (or equivalent experience) with at least three years in building controls, BMS, IoT, or Smart Building technology.
* Experience writing specifications, commissioning systems, and developing controls software.
* Consultancy experience is a bonus but not required.
* Familiarity with AV, CCTV, Access Control, ICT systems, and BMS platforms like Trend, Tridium, or Niagara is highly valued.
* Strong communication skills – confident engaging with clients and translating technical ideas into clear, understandable concepts.
