We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to oversee financial reporting within our performance reporting framework. You will lead and guide colleagues in the Financial Reporting and Rent & Service Charge Teams, ensuring high-quality service delivery. You will act as the main contact for external auditors and lead the statutory accounts process, ensuring deadlines are met. Collaboration with the wider Finance Team to align financial processes and oversee the preparation of monthly leadership reports is also essential. You will monitor performance indicators and efficiency initiatives.
The ideal candidate is a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, etc.) with experience in a senior finance role, preferably within social housing. You should be skilled in financial data analysis, problem-solving, and proficient with modern financial systems. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build collaborative relationships are also important.
