THE EMPLOYER IS: THE BAR HEALTH & FITNESS The Marketing & Administration Assistant will support the day-to-day running of the gym by assisting with marketing activity, member communications and general administrative tasks. The role will also include light cleaning duties to support a clean, welcoming environment for members. This position will provide the participant with valuable experience in marketing, administration, customer service and workplace organisation within a fitness/wellness business, while helping the business to grow.
Responsibilities
* Assisting with marketing and promotional activities including social media content, basic Canva designs and promotion of classes, offers and events.
* Supporting member communications, including responding to enquiries, messages and emails under guidance.
* Assisting with administrative tasks, such as updating membership records, booking systems, and class schedules.
* Supporting the day-to-day running of the gym, including organising paperwork and assisting with front-of-house tasks.
* Helping to promote the gym to new members, supporting growth and retention initiatives.
* Carry out light cleaning duties, including wiping down equipment, cleaning studio spaces and maintaining a tidy reception area in line with health and safety standards.
* Following all health and safety policies and maintaining professionalism at all times.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
* Good communication skills.
* Basic knowledge of social media.
Desirable Skills
* Knowledge of Canva.

The Employer is: THE BAR HEALTH & FITNESS JobStart Opportunity - Working Hours Information. Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week. Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach. Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability.
