Job Summary
We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Easington South Durham Coast Community Nursing Team. The successful applicant will work across Easington South and surrounding areas from an office base in Peterlee. The team covers 8am until 9pm, 7 days a week on a duty roster. The role involves providing holistic nursing care to adult patients in their own home or residential care setting. Successful applicants will be required to hold a first level nursing registration with the NMC; additional training specific to the role can be provided.
Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate will provide a variety of nursing care to patients, including wound care, administration of medication, palliative care, and management of bowel and catheter care. The role involves assessment of patient care needs, care planning, delivery of care and review. The successful candidate will be required to work independently as part of the wider Nursing team reporting back to senior staff on duty.
Qualifications
* 1st Level Registration with the NMC (Adult)
