Role Details:
The role will support the Infrastructure Programme Manager by leading on programme governance and controls.
It will be responsible for managing the Major Works Programme risk register, including reviewing risk scores, mitigation plans, and risk descriptions. The postholder will report these risks to the Risk Management Group and the Major Works Programme Review, ensuring effective oversight and supporting successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the management of the Infrastructure Programme Risk Register.
2. Lead on the monthly review, update and issue of the Infrastructure Programme Risk Register.
3. Responsible for the Infrastructure Programme Risks that sit within the Infrastructure Programme Management Team.
4. Review the 10-year programme to ensure this aligns with programme changes and look to find efficiencies within this programme.
5. Development of the next years programme collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure the programme is deliverable and reflective of project priorities.
6. Work closely with key stakeholders across the project to improve the management of programme governance and controls.
Key Requirements:
7. MS O proficient.
8. Programme management / governance management experience.
9. Excellent stakeholder management and engagement at all levels.
10. Strong presentation and communication skills.
11. Organised with ability to work on own initiative and be proactive.
Other Key Points
12. Security - The incumbent of this role must be a minimum of SC cleared and a sole UK national.
13. Working arrangements – The incumbent of this role must be able to do hybrid working with the ability to attend the site up to 2 days per week and / or to meet business needs, as requested.
