Metallurgical Technologist
Location: Scunthorpe DN16
Hours: MondayFriday, 8:00am4pm (36.5 hours per week)
Rate: £32,000 - £35,000 per annum (£16.00 - £18.00ph)
Contract: Permanent (after an initial 3 month probation period via agency)
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Metallurgy Technologist to join the Materials team of a leading local employer.
Your role will include:
Metallurgical testing and analysis of metal products.
Meeting customer deadlines
Managing your processes effectively to ensure testing and release is done to schedule
Issue investigation
With a full training plan already mapped out, this is a fantastic opportunity to joining a leading local business
What Were Looking For
A background in materials science or metallurgy
Experience working within ISO9001 / ISOIEC17025
Understanding of lean manufacturing/six sigma techniques
A valid UK driving licence
