About Talk Works

Our mission has always been to empower individuals and organisations to thrive through care, compassion, and evidence-based solutions.

What started as a small practice has grown into a trusted provider of therapy and mental health education, serving thousands across the UK.

Our services range from rapid access counselling and cognitive-behavioural therapy to bespoke workplace training. Whatever the format, our goal remains simple - to help people feel better and do better, one step at a time.

Our Values

We live by three core values that shape how we work:

* Excellence: We collaborate with industry-leading experts to deliver evidence-based care that creates real, lasting change.
* Compassion: From your first interaction with us, you’ll feel supported and understood. We meet you where you are, without judgment.
* Integrity: As a certified B Corp, we hold ourselves accountable to do the right thing, for our clients, our community, and the environment.

The Role

As a CBT Therapist at Talk Works, you play a key role in supporting the mental health of working-aged adults, most of whom access therapy through their employer. You’ll work independently and collaboratively to deliver high-quality, short-term interventions – in person and online, at our customer’s workplace. Even though your clinical work is primarily delivered from your base in Stevenage, Newport or Portsmouth, you’ll be part of a supportive, close-knit national team. Our therapists work across different locations but stay connected through regular supervision, peer discussions and shared training.
