Role responsibilities
We are currently recruiting for a Passenger Revenue & Treasury Manager to lead and direct the Passenger Accounts and Treasury teams. Be the key liaison with regards to industry-wide passenger accounts and settlement schemes and advise on any upcoming changes and their impacts on the wider business. Responsible for monitoring the daily cash position and reliably forecasting the short- and medium-term cashflow needs of the company. Lead key transformational projects within this part of the Finance function.
Responsibilities to include but not limited to.
* Lead, direct and manage all staff within the Passenger Accounts and Treasury functions, providing effective and supportive leadership and making sure resources are appropriately utilised. Represent TFWRL with regards to industry-wide settlement and passenger accounts processes and ensure the company is up to date with current requirements in relation to the Rail Settlement Plan. Analyse any upcoming changes, assess their impacts and provide an implementation plan. Complete reconciliation activities, post periodic journal entries and provide relevant budget inputs to ensure accuracy of financial information. Monitor TFWRL’s cash position daily to ensure sufficient funds are available and provide the Head of Financial Reporting and Head of Finance with relevant cashflow information for decision-making. Work closely with the wider Finance team to deliver monthly short- and medium-term cash forecasts, providing visibility to the Head of Financial Reporting and the Head of Finance on cash requirements and enabling the drawdown of appropriate funds from the parent company to support all companywide activities. Lead key transformational projects within this part of the Finance function to generate efficiencies while ensuring accurate data processing and governance throughout the entire payment cycle.
Who we’re looking for
Honest and trustworthy individual of highest integrity Demonstrable people management and excellent communication skills to guide, manage and support the Passenger Accounts and Treasury teams Stakeholder management experience (internal and external) and influencing skills Ability to deliver work to a high standard and by set deadlines in a pressurised environment Ability to look at the bigger picture, recognise gaps and self-start processes as needed Analytical skills paired with attention to detail and a knack for solving problems High Proficiency in Excel for analysis and Word / Powerpoint for documentation and presentation
Welsh Language Skills
The ability to speak/write Welsh would make a great addition to your application, but it is not essential for this role.
