Choice Care provides high-quality home care services in Lancashire and is a family business with 26 years’ experience. We are a Preferred Provider for Blackburn with Darwen Council, Lancashire County Council, the NHS and Clinical Commissioning Group, as well as private clients. We offer regular work with hours that support work-life balance. You will need to be available from 7am - 2pm and/or 4pm - 11pm and have use of your own car.
Salary and training: starting hourly rate of £12.25 per hour with face-to-face training in our training room led by a nurse and management team; continuing professional development in many care-related topics. If you have NVQ in Health & Social Care, starting rate is £12.60 per hour. If you have an NVQ, rate increases to £13.00 per hour after probation.

About The Role
Responsibilities and Duties
* Role includes repositioning of clients and personal care
* Supporting clients to eat and drink
* End of Life Care
* Giving medication
* Dealing with PEG feeds, stomas, catheters and other more complex clinical needs (Training given)
Qualifications and Skills
* Preferably NVQ 2 or 3 qualified in Adult Health & Social Care or equivalent
* Reliable
* Driver with use of own car
* Able to work as part of a team and use your own initiative
